About Wendy
Wendy lives in the North West of England and developed a passion for art from an early age through to A level Art. After graduating from University, Wendy's career was science
focussed, initially as a science teacher followed by a successful career in pharmaceutical sales.
Throughout her career Wendy produced art for her family and friends but retirement in 2020 provided her with the opportunity to devote her time to developing her artistic techniques and vision and persue her love of creating art.
Wendy is an active member of the vibrant art community in Cheshire and the wider North West. She has entered her work in multiple exhibitions where she has won awards and sold many of her pieces. She has also undertaken commissions for clients. She keeps those interested in her work up to date via her Instagram account (webminigallery) which she regularly updates.
This website is a natural progression for Wendy providing her with an online portfolio to display her original art which is available to purchase.

About Wendy's paintings
Wendy Loves colour. Her paintings are expressionistic in style primarily using oils or acrylics on
canvas. In creating her images, Wendy works intuitively with brushes, palette knives or other tools responding to what each piece requires and is always seeking to explore and incorporate new creative techniques and methods into her work.
As part of her creative process, Wendy exaggerates features in her work through softening or blurring hard edges and adding texture to create the ‘mood’ of the piece, It is this mood that helps foster an emotional connection between the viewer and her work.
For commissioned pieces, and prior to starting to paint, Wendy engages with clients in a creative dialogue to determine their requirements and expectations of the piece. The purpose of the creative dialogue is key to producing a work that resonates with the client on an emotional level.

All artwork range in price from £150 to £450 depending on size and whether the piece is framed or unframed. Delivery within the UK is free. Delivery to outside of the UK will be via Parcel Force with costs agreed at time of purchase.
